Greg Heartsill issued the following statement, “Due to unexpected events in the life of my family, I must withdraw my candidacy for the new House District 37. My heartfelt gratitude to those who supported me in this effort.”
Heartsill added, “However, I would also like to take this opportunity to express my support for Barb Kniff McCulla who has stepped forward as a candidate for House District 37. Her extensive business knowledge and life experiences coupled with her deeply held Christian faith will serve the citizens of the State extremely well. I urge voters of House District 37 to support her candidacy.”
