According to President Donald J. Trump’s campaign, news of Robert F. Kennedy’s departure from the ballot in swing states will benefit Trump far more than Vice President Kamala Harris.

Kennedy also offered an endorsement of Trump on Friday when he suspended his campaign.

According to polling data from Trump’s campaign, here is how they believe the endorsement will move voters:

“To put these numbers into perspective, the net vote gained in a state like Arizona based on just a 2020 turnout model would be over 41,000 votes — nearly 4 times Biden’s winning margin,” a campaign memo states. “Or in Georgia, the net gain would be over 19,000 votes — nearly twice Biden’s margin.”

Of course, a sizeable chunk of Kennedy’s supporters were “undecided.”

Still, Trump’s campaign said the endorsement is “good news” despite the fact Harris and Democrats will try and spin it.
