Ashley Hinson, the Republican nominee for Congress in Iowa’s First District, is releasing her second TV ad titled “Grace.” The ad will air across the district. Hinson is an Iowa mom and a state legislator who will fight every day in Washington to ensure that all kids have a better future. She has real world experiences that give her the perspective to be able to effectively represent the needs of Iowa families in Congress.

“In times of crisis, Iowans have always turned to our faith. To the things that unite us. Now, more than ever, we need that. America is the greatest country in the world. Because of our farms, our small towns, our churches. There is nothing America can’t overcome if we always remember where we came from.” – Ashley Hinson

Ashley is in the highest tier of the ‘Young Gun Program’ by the National Republican Congressional Committee after establishing her clear path to victory. National political forecasters believe the 1st Congressional District will be one of the most competitive races in 2020. The Cook Political Report has rated IA-01 as “Toss Up.”

Ashley has a record of winning tight elections. She won in 2018 in a swing district to help hold the Iowa House majority and outperformed the Republican ticket by 5-8 points across House District 67, the heart of IA-01. She won 9 of 13 precincts in House District 67 despite Democratic outside groups outspending Republican outside groups.
