Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) helped introduce a resolution to honor the 619 law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2021, including nine officers in Iowa, and express support for National Police Week.
“Our law enforcement officers put on their uniforms every single morning, ready to run toward danger to keep us safe. 619 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty last year, including nine in Iowa. This resolution honors their sacrifice, and that of their families, and reaffirms our unwavering commitment to support law enforcement officers nationwide.” -Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
