Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA) released the following statement calling on President Joe Biden to hold a press conference and answer directly to the American people.
“In 48 days on the job, President Biden has yet to hold a press conference and provide answers directly to the American people. Americans deserve transparency from their Commander in Chief, especially during these uncertain times.
“Our Democracy works best when elected officials are accessible and transparent—leaders should be held accountable. That is why I hold a weekly press call and answer questions from reporters in Iowa.
“It’s past time for the President to hold a press conference and I hope he does so soon.”
