Today, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) introduced the Flexibility for Workers Education Act, legislation to modernize existing law to help workers access voluntary skills training and educational opportunities for career advancement.

“Oftentimes, workers want to grow in their careers, but may not be able to afford trainings or classes that will help them get to the next level. My Flexibility for Workers Education Act will help expand access to educational opportunities and help workers unlock their full potential.” –Congresswoman Ashley Hinson

  1. Founding Fathers were of the following opinions; Nothing ventured, nothing gained & Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Where does Congress get the authorization to hand out taxpayers’ money to subsidize a “leg up” to someone unwilling to venture their own money or unwilling to find a way to advance their career???

This is a recipe for fraud, waste and abuse. So much for “conservative values”.

  2. Does no one understand that this is how our government has become Socialist? People are to depend on God, not government. I wonder when they dole money out of the public coffers is that money carefully accounted for or is it more like scattering birdseed?
