Democrats in Washington are emboldened right now, and they are already putting forward radical proposals that threaten our Second Amendment rights, including flat out gun bans. It’s extreme-not to mention a complete violation of our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
That’s why within my first week in office I put my name on legislation that would allow those with state-issued concealed carry licenses or permits to conceal a handgun in other states, as long as they follow the laws of that state. This is just common sense. I will keep fighting to protect Iowans’ Second Amendment rights, and stand up to those in Washington who try to take them away.
