Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the below statement on Putin’s attack on the Kramatorsk train station in Ukraine that was being used to evacuate civilians, killing at least 39, including several children, and wounding at least 90.

“Vladimir Putin’s evil knows no bounds–the missile used to attack Ukrainian refugees had the phrase ‘for the children’ painted on it. My heart is breaking for the people of Ukraine and I am praying for those who lost loved ones this morning. Putin must be held accountable by the international community for his blatant disregard for human life and tried as a war criminal. The U.S. must send Ukraine the lethal aid they need to defeat Putin and end this war.” –Congresswoman Ashley Hinson

  1. Ashley, please stop regurgitating fake news. This was already debunked within an hour of Ukraine posting it. Unfortunately for fake news, Russia and Ukraine share relatively few weapons in common. The remnants of the rocket is distinctive to Ukraine.

This is just another criminal act by Ukraine inflicted upon its own people in order to blame it on Russia.

Just like the Bucha incident where relatives stepped forward to prove the victims were shot by the Azov brigade. In releasing the photos, they forgot to remove the white armbands that civilians wear to show their support of Russia. These people were killed simply for accepting humanitarian food packages from the Russians who departed their town 3 days prior to the massacre, and of course for wearing white armbands. Ukrainian supports and soldiers wear blue armbands.

Nonetheless, a supermajority of our politicians are hellbent on fighting Putin, either out of ignorance, anti-russian sentiment or to cover up the USA’s own dirty hands in developing bioweapons to selectively target specific genetic attributes of any ethnic group – – a war crime of genocide.

  2. Fake news. Another neocon. She is in my district and I’m sitting it out this Nov, unless a libertarian runs. That goes for Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley, too.
