Republican Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks sent out a fundraising email on Saturday with the following subject line:

Can T R U M P count on you?

Here is the text:

“Friend, I have (1) message waiting for you from the T R U M P Majority group. Your GOP membership is at SERIOUS risk due to inactivity. If you can chip in just $5, $10, or $20 RIGHT NOW, we will make SURE that you are on our lists.

“If you wait, you may never get this opportunity again. Don’t let us down.”

Then there was a big red button below that said “confirm your membership here.”

At the bottom of the email was a disclaimer:

Paid for by Miller-Meeks for Congress.

Then, she sent out another.

URGENT – READ NOW!

“Due to recent inactivity, it looks like you may have abandoned supporting GOP candidates. Your GOP membership has EXPIRED, and Republicans need YOU in order to win back the House.

“I’m writing to tell you this because we have a VERY dedicated GOP donor who is matching ALL donations before midnight tonight by 500 percent.”

The email continues…

“There’s never been a more important time to show your support for President Trump and the GOP.”

And it finishes…

“This is your last chance to stand with President Trump and to stand for American values.”

It is signed by:

TRUMP Majority Conservatives

This is outlandish considering the attitude Miller-Meeks has consistently displayed toward President Donald J. Trump.

For instance, Trump referred to the Republicans who voted in support of the Jan. 6 Commission as “wayward Republicans.” Miller-Meeks was one of 35 House Republicans to vote for that.

Miller-Meeks voted to certify Biden’s Electoral College victory.

Her campaign manager and deputy chief of staff, Austin Harris, liked a tweet from Hillary Clinton that was celebrating the fact Trump was kicked off Twitter.

Prior to the 2016 election, Miller-Meeks said Trump was “as fit as Hillary Clinton.”

“Both liars & corrupt,” she wrote. “(Trump) did it legally, (Clinton) broke laws, used government position & hurt national security.”

These fundraising emails are totally deceiving and do a disservice to voters. It is sad to see Miller-Meeks sink to such a low.
