Here are some bills filed in the U.S. House of Representatives to tackle sanctuary jurisdictions and illegal immigration.

H.R. 31: Makes the assault of law enforcement officers a deportable offense. Sponsored by Rep. Andrew Garbarino. Cosponsors include Representatives Erin Houchin, Claudia Tenney, Nicole Malliotakis, Randy Feenstra, Zach Nunn and Nicholas Langworthy.

H.R. 32: Provides that sanctuary jurisdictions that provide benefits to aliens who are present in the U.S. without lawful status under the immigration laws are ineligible for federal funds intended to benefit such aliens. Sponsored by Rep. Nick LaLota. Cosponsors include Representatives Randy Feenstra, Erin Houchin, Michael McCloud, Zach Nunn and Nicholas Langworthy.

H.R. 58: Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to make voting in a federal election by an unlawfully present alien an aggravated felony. Sponsored by Rep. Andy Biggs. Cosponsored by Rep. Nancy Mace.

H.R. 64: Requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to detain any alien who is unlawfully present in the United States and is arrested for certain criminal offenses. Sponsored by Rep. Andy Biggs. Cosponsored by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna.

H.R. 116: Closes loopholes in the immigration laws that serve as incentives to aliens to attempt to enter the United States unlawfully. Sponsored by Rep. Andy Biggs. There are no cosponsors.

H.R. 134: Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide for the detention, inadmissibility and removal of aliens who commit sexual assault. Sponsored by Rep. Vern Buchanan. Cosponsors include Representatives Darrell Issa, Pete Stauber, Michael McCaul, Mike Bost, Randy Weber and Chuck Edwards.

H.R. 174: Amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide that aliens who have been convicted of or who have committed Social Security fraud are inadmissible and deportable. Sponsored by Rep. H.R. 205: Prohibits the use of federal funds for congressional earmarks targeted to a state or unit of local government that is a sanctuary jurisdiction. Sponsored by Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, cosponsored by Congressman Jake Ellzey.
