It’s another busy day in the Iowa House with subcommittees on sports betting and an amendment to the Iowa Constitution for the right to keep and bear arms.

HSB 89: House Study Bill 89 was proposed by the Department of Commerce/Credit Union Division. It’s an act relating to subpoena powers of the superintendent of credit unions.

HSB 88: House Study Bill 88 was filed by Rep. Ashley Hinson. It’s an act relating to special certificates issued to aircraft manufacturers, transporters, and dealers.

HSB 90: House Study Bill 90 was proposed by the Department of Commerce/Credit Union Division. It’s an act providing for the good-faith submission of information, records, applications and documents to the credit union division.

HF 87: House File 87 was filed by Rep. Dean Fisher. It’s an act creating a homeownership development tax credit available for charitable contributions to certain low-income housing developers.

HSB 106: House Study Bill 106 was proposed by the Department of Commerce/Credit Union Division. It’s an act relating to procedural requirements for the merger of state credit unions.

HSB 87: House Study Bill 87 was proposed by the Department of Natural Resources. It’s an act providing for the repeal of the honey creek premier destination park bond program.

HF 184: House File 184 was filed by Rep. Holly Brink. It’s an act relating to statewide preschool program by modifying provisions relating to eligibility, funding and compulsory attendance.

HSB 127: House Study Bill 127 was proposed by Rep. Ashley Hinson. It’s an act relating to distance requirements for certain motor vehicles following other vehicles.

HSB 102: House Study Bill 102 was filed by Rep. Bobby Kaufmann. It’s an act relating to wagering, by providing for fantasy sports contests and sports wagering, providing for taxes and fees, making penalties applicable.

HSB 103: House Study Bill 103 was filed by Rep. Bobby Kaufmann. It’s an act relating to matters under the purview of the Iowa Lottery Authority, including authorization to conduct sports betting as a lottery game.

HSB 124: House Study Bill 124 was filed by Rep. Bobby Kaufmann. It’s an act relating to the conduct of sports betting, providing for taxes.

HSB 101: House Study Bill 101 was filed by Rep. Bobby Kaufmann. It’s an act relating to the conduct of sports betting by gambling licensees.

HSB 92: House Study Bill 92 was proposed by the Department of Commerce/Insurance Division. It’s an act relating to the insurance fraud bureau, criminal history checks for licenses granted by the insurance division.

HF 212: House File 212 was filed by Rep. Joel Fry. It’s an act relating to the operation of the board of medicine, the board of nursing, the board of pharmacy and the dental board.
