We had tremendous feedback on the presence of 500-600 Iowans showing up at the Capitol for special session this past Tuesday! Legislators that are wanting to do something to help Iowans were very encouraged and many spoke at the rally and on the floor of the House in regards to needing to come back and do the “people’s work over just passing maps.” It also made an impact on the hold outs and since Tuesday a handful of bills have been drafted and some have obtained cosponsors to be considered at the next special session. Since the maps failed to gain majority approval the second special session is scheduled to occur at the end of October with a tentative date being October 28th.

Continue to contact your legislators to encourage them to ACT to uphold Iowans’ Civil Rights! Discrimination based on vaccination status is spreading so they absolutely must ACT to defend our unalienable rights and our ability to provide for our families. Tell them to make our private medical information protected under the civil rights act. If you have additional time please contact all those who are committee chairs or leadership in the House & Senate.

EXEMPTION DENIAL NEXT STEPS

Unfortunately many exemptions are being denied in various industries but predominantly Mercy healthcare clinics in Des Moines. Below are the steps legislators and Civil Rights Commissioners are encouraging Iowans to take in order to defend your rights.

1. File a complaint with the Iowa Civil Rights Commission:
https://icrc.iowa.gov/file-complaint

Include as much written documentation as possible.

2. Email legislators: (subject line – Exemption Denial)

[email protected]

[email protected] (judiciary chair staff to send documentation- exemption, correspondence, etc.)

Contact the Governor’s office: 1-515-281-5211

Or CLICK HERE to submit a request for assistance.

You can also report them to www.iafreedomviolations.com so it can be documented that you submitted an email for help. This page also contains recommendations for attorneys who will take cases for denied exemptions and civil rights discrimination.

Jacob Hall with The Iowa Standard is also asking for stories. If you would like to share your story with a friendly media source, email him at [email protected].

SPECIAL ELECTION ON OCT 12 FOR JASPER COUNTY

It’s hard to believe because you probably haven’t heard much about it or seen many legislators out canvassing, but there is another special election coming up for HD 29 in Jasper County!

The special election is fast approaching on October 12 and we need to make sure everyone gets out to VOTE in House District 29-Jasper County, to continue to accrue quality candidates for medical freedom! We DO NOT endorse candidates nor can we contribute to their campaigns but we will INFORM you of where the candidates stand on issues pertaining to medical freedom, informed consent, and mandates. Of course, talk and action are two completely different things so we will continue to keep you posted as to how these individuals vote or engage in helping the cause after they are elected.

Below is a district map of house district 29 who will vote in this election.

Schedule it on your calendar RIGHT NOW to GO VOTE on 10/12 and encourage like-minded friends in the district to do the same.
