Incoming State Representative Austin Harris, a Republican, celebrated the passage of the (Dis)Respect for Marriage Act on Tuesday. Harris shared the statement from the LGBTQ group “Log Cabin Republicans” on Twitter.

The Log Cabin Republicans said the 12 Republican Senators who voted in support of the bill are “forward-thinking.”

Harris wrote:

“Freedom means freedom for everyone.”

The last week or so has probably been a little up and down for Harris, after seeing President Donald J. Trump have his Twitter account restored. Harris liked a tweet from Hillary Clinton that celebrated Trump’s account being deleted.

Previously Harris offered a triple-heart reaction to a photo of Pete and Chasten Buttigieg holding babies in a hospital bed.
