Republican legislators are being slammed with emails demanding they implement a mask mandate at the Iowa Capitol. The 2021 legislative session opened on Monday.

Informed Choice Iowa hosted Freedom Rally 2.0 and with most of those in attendance exercising their freedom to not wear a mask, advocates for requiring a mask have jumped at the opportunity to restrict Iowans’ freedom to choose.

Legislators also need to hear from those who support freedom to choose rather than those who want to rule over others through force and mandates.

Informed Choice Iowa is asking everyone to contact ALL Republican legislators with a simple message:

Thank you for standing up for individual liberties and granting all Iowans access to our Capitol building. Please continue to stay firm and unwavering in protecting this crucial right of access for all, especially now. There are taxpayers on both sides of this issue and while one side calls for tyrannical law the silent majority that spoke in November is asking you to let the decision to mask be left to the individual. Please keep our Capitol building open without any further restrictions.
