An internal poll from Moore Information Group shows that State Sen. Zach Nunn has a double-digit lead in the race for the Republican nomination in Iowa’s Third Congressional District race.

According to Kirk Bado, a reporter with National Journal Hotline, Nunn received 24 percent and Mary Ann Hanusa tallied 13 percent. Nicole Hasso had three percent.

Hanusa may not even be in the Third District depending on redistricting. Pottawattamie County was not included in the Third District in LSA’s first redistricting proposal.

Bado also said that the poll shows Democrat Cindy Axne leading 46-42 in a potential matchup against Nunn.
