The last two years have been defined by government mandates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mask mandates. Vaccine mandates. Gathering limits. Churches shuttered. Businesses forced to close.

All of it. All of them.

As Jim Bob put it — “ban mandates!”

Debi agreed, calling for the END of mandates.

Dillon called it “ridiculous mandate nonsense.”

No vaccine mandates was the top wish provided by our readers — it wasn’t even close.

“Stop any and all COVID talk, tests, masks, boosters, vaccines — just be silent about it,” Barb said.

Jinger said there should be no prying into her healthcare choices for a job.

Andrea expressed concern for the National Guardsmen and women who are being “booted” for declining the jab.

“I would’ve liked to have seen any of them stand up for our protectors, but I’m afraid it’s too late,” she said.

Adam called for no personal health mandates of any kind — ever.

Lawmakers have attempted to address this issue twice, but have fallen short of actually prohibiting vaccine mandates.

We will see what happens early in the legislative session as anything after the initial few weeks will be too late for those who it isn’t too late for already.
