State Rep. Ross Wilburn, who is also the chairman of the Iowa Democrat Party, expressed his displeasure with the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial on Friday.

Wilburn used the verdict as another opportunity to take a swipe at the justice system.

“I know I’m not alone in feeling let down and exhausted by the familiar outcome of today’s trial,” he wrote. “This is why we do the work that we do. The struggle for justice feels insurmountable at times, but I know that we can win and we must win.”
