The Iowa Farm Bureau reaffirmed their endorsement to Joni Ernst after former Colby Interests Executive Theresa Greenfield and national liberals began to push false information about the endorsement.

Greenfield’s tactics should come as no surprise given that her last election ended after her campaign was caught committing felony election fraud

“Theresa Greenfield’s last run for office ended when her campaign was caught committing felony election fraud. Now Greenfield and her liberal allies are pushing false information to confuse voters,” said Joni Ernst campaign manager Sam Pritchard.  “Despite Greenfield’s lies, Joni Ernst is the only candidate endorsed not only by the Iowa Farm Bureau, but also the Iowa Corn Growers and Iowa Cattlemen’s Association. Any further tactics aimed at deliberately misleading voters should be reported to the Iowa Secretary of State.”

A statement by the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation regarding a fake email: “This email is fake, and any news reports that speak to its validity are false. Iowa farmers know Senator Joni Ernst understands agriculture and works tirelessly to increase the economic opportunities for Iowa farmers and rural America, and that is why the Iowa Farm Bureau was proud to designate her as a Friend of Agriculture. She continues to have our full support.” (Iowa Farm Bureau, 10/18/20)
