We are continuing our look at the Republican Party of Iowa’s Platform. Too often elected representatives forget or ignore the importance of this document.
Many Iowans may not even know what is in this platform, though. So we hope you take the time to read this series every day and perhaps even gain a new appreciation for the principles that make the Republican Party a party worth supporting.

“The Oath of Office of all civil servants, elected and employed, should guide their actions.
“As citizens, we demand that our elected officials take their office and its duties and responsibilities to us, our country and our Constitution seriously and act in accordance with their individual Oaths of Office.”
