Iowa RNC trio endorses Ronna Romney McDaniel for RNC chair

Members of the Republican National Committee from Iowa expressed their support for Ronna Romney McDaniel. Tamara Scott, Jeff Kaufmann and Steve Scheffler made a brief video.

“The three of us are here today as a show of unity in support of Ronna Romney McDaniel,” Kaufmann said. “She has shown more support for Iowa than we have received in decades and we are so, so grateful to her. In many ways the RNC is responsible for our red wave.”

My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell has said he will challenge McDaniel for the position of RNC Chair. Congressman Lee Zeldin said he is considering a run while Harmeet Dhillon, an RNC committeewoman whose firm represents Donald J. Trump, is said to be preparing for a run.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has been very critical of McDaniel, saying she doesn’t know if a party can continue to lose like the GOP has and the people in charge keep their jobs.
