Senate Majority Leader Mike Klimesh, R-Spillville, today is releasing updated Senate Republican committee assignments for the 2026 legislative session.
“Senate Republicans are ready for the start of the 2026 legislative session and focused on making Iowa an affordable place to live and raise a family, reducing the cost of government, and bringing common-sense solutions to the problems Iowans are facing,” said Senator Klimesh. “There are many issues that Iowans are dealing with and expect us to face head on, and Senate Republicans are ready to hit the ground running come January.”
