Today’s National Thanksgiving Turkey ceremony will have an Iowa appeal. President Donald J. Trump will pardon the National Thanksgiving Turkey in the Rose Garden later today.

This year’s turkeys, Corn and Cob, are from Iowa. Both turkeys will retire to their new home on the campus of Iowa State after the event.

The turkeys were raised by Ron and Susie Kardel from Walcott. Sen. Joni Ernst congratulated Ron and Susie.
