Iowans For Life is encouraging pro-lifers across the state who don’t make the trip to Washington D.c. for the March for Life to participate at a march in Iowa.

On Saturday, Jan. 18, there will be a walk for life at Washington Park in Dubuque from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, there will be an event held in Cedar Rapids:

12 p.m.: Rosary at St. Matthews Church (2310 First Ave. NE)

12:30 p.m.: Mass celebrated by Fr. Don Czapla

2 p.m.: Leave St. Matthews to march to Planned Parenthood

3 p.m.: We will march back to St. Matthews lower level where we will enjoy some warm chili and fellowship.

Those unable to march are welcome to drive the route and participate in the events. All are welcome to participate in all or part of these events. For more information, email [email protected] or call 319-270-0054.

On Wednesday, Jan. 22, there will be an all-city 24 hours of adoration at Nativity Church in Sioux City for a day of prayer. It will begin with mass at 8 a.m. and closing benediction Thursday prior to the 8:30 a.m. mass.
