Back in June Cindy Axne said “we’re not even remotely close to a point to say that we’re at rising inflation.”

In July, Axne said concerns about rising prices stemmed from a “false advertisement.”

In September, Axne said inflation will “get better day by day.”

Now it’s October, and the Wall Street Journal reports that “U.S. inflation accelerated last month and remained at its highest rate in over a decade.”

Was Cindy Axne lying to Iowans, or is she too uninformed to represent them?
