Dr. Alissa Stoehr is a core faculty member of the Women’s and Gender Studies program at Iowa State.
Stoehr is also a left-wing liberal activist when it comes to her use of social media.
Stoehr took to Twitter on March 2 to call for individuals to send a postcard to Joe Biden and urge him to take action and “build back bolder for abortion justice.”
She is also calling for federal legislation to address “anti-Black police violence” and to set nationwide standards for justice, anti-racist policing and safety.
She also has petitions to support illegal immigration, oppose permitless carry and to enact the $15/hour minimum wage.
Stoehr also has petitions for the resignation of Sen. Ted Cruz, the removal of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Facebook pages and the end of the death penalty.
Stoehr was claiming that President Donald J. Trump violated his oath of office when he “incited the mob storming the U.S. Capitol.”
She called for President Trump’s removal under the 25th Amendment and predicted there would be 14 more days of violence if they did not act.
On Jan. 4 she asked people to sign a petition to show Republicans in Congress that “undermining our democracy is a political loser — just like Donald Trump.”
Stoehr also advocated for the firing of the head of Chicago’s police union.
She called Jeff Sessions a “racist, anti-choice extremist.”
She called Iowa’s own Sam Clovis a “racist climate denier.”
