Ivanka Trump will provide the closing argument for her father’s campaign in Iowa on Monday afternoon. Her stop will be the final Iowa visit by a Trump campaign surrogate and the last by a member of the First Family in the Hawkeye State.
President Donald J. Trump held a rally Sunday in Dubuque, Iowa.
Ivanka will make one last Trump Team stop at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines on Monday. The event will begin at 3 p.m.
“During these past few weeks, I have traveled extensively across the country attending nearly 40 political events on behalf of my father’s re-election campaign,” Ivanka said. “The message from all of these trips could not be more clear: President Trump is the strongest and best candidate to continue leading our country forward. The people of Iowa delivered for my father four years ago and I’m honored to be able to make the case to them for another four years.”
President Trump holds a seven-point lead in a poll released this weekend by The Des Moines Register. Recent Register polls the past decade or so have been fairly accurate.
Vice President Mike Pence, Donald Trump Jr. and President Trump have all had multiple events in Iowa the past month or two.
Attendees are encouraged to register here for Ivanka’s visit.
