Actor James Woods shared a story on Twitter that gained plenty of attention.

On Nov. 22, Woods tweeted the following:

“A friend on the east coast said her colleague tested positive for COVID. After she recovered, but less than 14 days from her test result, she took her dog for a walk. A notification popped up on her phone, telling her to go back home, as she wasn’t ‘allowed to leave her house.'”

Woods then went through ways to work around this potential.

“On an iPhone go to Seeings, then scroll down to Exposure Notifications. Do not choose Turn On Exposure Notifications. Leave Availability Alerts toggled off. If you want to be notified and be on a government list, turn those options on. I do not choose to have them on.”

Location services is another setting he expressed concern about.
