During last night’s debate, President Donald J. Trump claimed Joe Biden supports the Green New Deal. Liberal fact-checkers often say Biden has never given it his full support.

Perhaps Biden’s own website would offer clarification. Yep. Found it:

“Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face.”

Biden has promised, “I guarantee you, we’re going to end fossil fuels,” on multiple occasions.

He pledged, “No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period, ends.”

When CNN’s Dana Bash asked, “Would there be any place for fossil fuels including coal and fracking in a Biden administration,” Biden immediately replied, “No, we would, we would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated.”

Why lie? Why hide a truth that is so accessible?

Joe Biden wants to eliminate fossil fuels and his plan presents an existential threat to countless American jobs. According to one analysis, a ban on fracking would eliminate 19 million jobs and reduce U.S. GDP by $7.1 trillion.

And if for some reason there’s still any doubt left, that should be erased when considering who Biden picked as his running mate.

Kamala Harris is a co-sponsor of the $93 trillion Green New Deal and unequivocally confirmed, “there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.” She also wants to ban plastic straws and wants the government to create “incentives” for Americans to eat less meat.

Biden’s energy agenda would bring American energy to its knees and kill millions of jobs.
