***Iowa Corn Growers Association is NOT sponsoring Capital City Pride, but is participating in the ‘PrideFest Family & Kids Zone.’ The headline originally left out the words “events” and has since been updated.***

Capital City Pride is scheduled in Des Moines for next month. There will be many events held, but in particular, is a “Family & Kids Zone” at the event.

Events at the “Family & Kids Zone” start on Saturday, June 10. The first event is called the Little Rainbow Run and it is sponsored by… John Deere.

There will also be an interactive biofuels trailer sponsored by the Iowa Corn Growers Association.

The day of events ends in the “Family & Kids Zone” with a drag queen storytime.

The Family & Kids Zone is presented by Alliant Energy in partnership with…John Deere.

The Little Rainbow Run, presented by John Deere, is for children as young as three years old.
