Critical Race Theory (CRT) is much more than an effort to address racial disparities in America. It is a Marxist-derived tactic to divide Americans into identity groups, with blacks as victims and whites as genetically programmed oppressors.

Its premise is simple: America was birthed primarily to facilitate slavery, is still “systemically racist,” and must be overhauled by radical social reforms. If it seems as if CRT was designed by the devil to promote suspicion, hatred and an obsessive fixation on race, it was.

This poisonous philosophy is gaining traction with Black Lives Matter curricula and the 1619 Project, the historically fraudulent CRT vehicle created by the New York Times.

With many Americans now alarmed by CRT’s reverse racism, especially in school curricula, leftists are insisting that they are not teaching CRT but merely engaging in honest history. This fits the Marxist credo that the “ends justify the means.” They lie boldly and dare us to call them on it.

CRT is nakedly racist, and it’s all about dividing America into warring groups to weaken us.

The most ubiquitous term they use is “social justice,” which sounds nice and has fooled many young people. It is really about redistributing income and shifting power from the private sector to government.

The Catholic Church and even bastions of conservative Christian doctrine in the United States such as the Southern Baptists are allowing elements of Critical Race Theory along with Liberation Theology (a Marxist perversion of Christianity) to creep into seminaries and forums.

As in the Catholic Church, valiant defenders of the faith in Protestant denominations are working to expose the devilish exchange of biblical truth for leftist lies.

Since sunlight is the best disinfectant, it’s vital that as many Americans as possible learn about CRT and its enablers and actively oppose it.

Clare M. Lopez co-authored and edited “Shariah: The Threat to America” as well as The Tiger Team’s “The Secure Freedom Strategy: A Plan for Victory Over the Global Jihad Movement.”

As Founder/President of Lopez Liberty LLC, former CIA officer Clare Lopez investigates and exposes threats to American freedom.

Ms. Lopez was the Vice President for Research and Analysis at the Center for Security Policy (CSP) from 2014 to 2020, a Senior Fellow at the London Center for Policy Research, and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Canadian Mackenzie Institute.

In “Made in China,” an April 20 article for the Citizens Commission on National Security, she explains how the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic almost certainly arose from a biological warfare lab in Communist China, a view that was suppressed on social media and by government agencies, but is now considered the most reasonable explanation.

In 2016, she was named to Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign national security advisory team. Since 2013, she has served as a member of the Citizens Commission on Benghazi. Formerly Vice President of the Intelligence Summit, she was a career operations officer with the Central Intelligence Agency, a professor at the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies, Executive Director of the Iran Policy Committee from 2005-2006, and has served as a consultant, intelligence analyst, and researcher for a variety of defense firms. She was named a 2011 Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute.

Already an advisor to EMP Act America, in February 2012 Ms. Lopez was named a member of the Congressional Task Force on National and Homeland Security, which focuses on the Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) threat to the nation. She serves as a member of the Boards of Advisors/Directors for the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia, the United West, and the Voice of the Copts. She has been a Visiting Researcher and guest lecturer on counterterrorism, national defense, and international relations at Georgetown University.

Ms. Lopez is a regular contributor to print and broadcast media on subjects related to Iran and the Middle East and the co-author of two published books on Iran. She co-authored “Gulen and the Gulenist Movement” with CSP’s Vice President for Outreach, Christopher Holton, and “See No Shariah: ‘Countering Violent Extremism’ and the Disarming of America’s First Line of Defense” with Frank Gaffney, CSP President.

Ms. Lopez received a B.A. in Communications and French from Notre Dame College of Ohio and an M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. She completed Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, Virginia before declining a military commission to join the CIA.
