On April 21, 2021 the New England Journal of Medicine published an article titled, “Preliminary Findings of mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine Safety in Pregnant Persons.” The experimenting on pregnant women and their unborn children and the results are troubling enough, however, the more concerning aspect of this article is that this is supposed to be a scientific journal and yet they fail in the most basic biology. Women get pregnant, women carry, nurture, and grow a child in utero. Women labor and give birth. Women breastfeed.

“Pregnant Persons” is an asinine term and blatantly contradicts basic biology in order not to hurt feelings or deny an alternate reality. Using “Pregnant Persons” attempts to steal and minimize the beautiful gift women, and only women, were created with. A person is either a man or a woman and a man cannot conceive nor give birth. In effort to conform with the woke, society is continuing to erase women by destroying and reassigning terms. In the last few years women’s fashion trends are now sported by men, in many places a woman’s bathroom/locker rooms can now be occupied by men, the most recent is women’s sports (awards, scholarships, opportunities) will now be taken over by men, and now pregnancy and giving birth no longer belongs to women, but to “persons.”

A woman should be especially cautious regarding what enters her body when pregnant, even when something is deemed “safe.” The question that should be asked, how can a journal of medicine claim science and safety in the science when they deny settled-basic biology?
