I worked alongside Adam first as a consultant and then later as an employee. He was the best boss I’ve ever had! I observed firsthand that he is a master at problem-solving, conflict resolution, fairness, and project management.
Since being appointed five years ago by Governor Reynolds as director of the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), he has worked diligently to downsize state agencies from 37 to 16, cutting waste and saving taxpayers millions of dollars. His common-sense approach to efficiently running our state operations and budget reflects his extraordinary ability to make sound business decisions.
Iowa deserves Adam Steen; he is the CEO we need. He is equipped to begin making a difference for Iowans on day one.
