Behind the craze of Critical Race Theory (CRT) is reparations for supposedly white people of privilege who profited from the institution of black slavery in the United States. Before I ever apologize for never having owned a slave to people who have never been a slave, those asserting reparations should consider some immutable facts.
First, Iowa has never been a slave state. Why should the white citizens of a non-slavery state pay reparations? When Iowa was just a territory and entering statehood in 1846 to 1865, slavery was never sanctioned by the Iowa people. Article 2, Section 23, slavery was banned in 1857 by the Iowa Constitution, eight years before the 13th Amendment was added to the U.S. Constitution – presumably after the Dred Scott decision of 1857 in which the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the institution of slavery could expand west across the Mississippi River into new states.
America was ramping up to the civil war. Slavery was the divisive issue of the day. At the same time a new political party, the Grand Old Party (GOP) was forming under Abraham Lincoln, father of our modern-day Republican Party; henceforth, the Party of Lincoln. Southern democrats rejected Lincoln and followed their president, Jefferson Davis, into secession under the pretext of states’ rights, but at the crux of those rights was slavery. The Democrat Party owns the institution of slavery. They also own the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) that followed the Civil War to keep slavery.
Racism and slavery belong to a white supremacist Democrat Party. A hundred years later, this political party still embraces a form of slavery called planned welfare. They moved black people from the cotton plantation to the welfare plantation, all in an effort to keep a race, the black race, controlled by their southern democratic values and contained in servitude. President Lyndon B. Johnson, a racist from Texas and architect of The Great Society in 1965, expanded involuntary servitude to enslave black people perpetually.
Margaret Sanger, mother of a 20th Century birth control movement, and Planned Parenthood, also worked tirelessly to abort black babies. Hillary Rodham Clinton from Arkansas, who admires Sanger as her iconic hero, regards infanticide as an American value. White supremacist southern democrats are solely responsible for slavery, welfare, and abortion of predominately the black race. The Republican Party has always opposed slavery, welfare, and abortion. Then along comes Jimmy Carter, another southern democrat from Georgia, to federalize education turning colleges and schools into centers of indoctrination to further perpetuate injury to the young.
I’m sure we can start seeing the manifest injury to children caused by a nefarious agenda advocated by Marxist-minded white supremacist democrats and their indoctrinated black vassal constituency. But there is more…
The Civil War ended in April of 1865 with General Lee surrendering to General Grant at Appomattox. In that same year, the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolishing slavery in the United States was passed by a federal legislature and ratified by three-fourths of the several states. What is remarkable is it was all northern Republican white men that did this. The same thing with the passing and ratification of the 14th Amendment granting black people citizenship were nothing but white northern Republican men that did this too! Then, once again with the 15th Amendment, and also ratified by the several states, black men were given the right to vote by the same white Republican race they loathe today.
As an ancestor of six Civil War veterans serving in Iowa and Ohio regiments, some coming home maimed and others paying the supreme sacrifice, I too would like some reparations from the white supremacist democrats and their duped black CRT vassals they maintain as modern slaves. It was my ancestors that fought on battlefields and died to end the institution of slavery from two states that never had slavery. It was white men, my race, that passed legislation and ratified liberty, citizenship and voting rights for black people. Or, we could just enjoy our God-given rights and call it even for a war fought over 157 years ago. Let’s just chalk up reparations and CRT as the impetuosity of ignorance by a Democrat-controlled Teachers’ Union.
Why would black people even want to support the Democrat party of slavery and lynchings? The Republican Party may have a few cowards, but we also believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To black CRT supporters: you are in the party of your evil mastas that want to keep your race held down in perpetual bondage forever. You are aiding and abetting your own slavery by supporting democrats, the deceived party of Barack Hussein Obama – a closet Islamicist who follows Shariah law that still practices slavery today. Everything is deceptive and fake about the leader of the Democrat party Hussein Obama, everything! Know the Truth and let the Truth set you free!
