The US has been governed by the same generation for 30 years. Our culture has devolved to the point of Romans 1 degeneracy. We no longer know what males and females are. We push mental illness on children through government-funded indoctrination centers. We push aside properly ordered families to lift up unions with no possibility of reproduction. We place more emphasis on money and things that we do on living in a manner that is upstanding and morally right. We deny objective truth. The baby boomer generation embraced these moral problems and even those who say they did not follow after the current cultural rot, stood by and allowed it all to take place.

I see a different path. I’m a late Gen Xer. I see a path forward through younger leadership. I see someone with a properly ordered family seeking to restore moral standards through disciplined leadership, setting an example for future generations. Ron DeSantis loves his wife and children. He eschewed the cocktail party scene that so many other legislators are drawn to, like moths to flames, during his time in Congress. God forbid we seek a leader with temperance and character.

I see Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida as the proper messenger for this movement. Unlike so many members of Iowa’s GOP upper crust, Governor DeSantis isn’t a corporate shill. He’s not pursuing eminent domain boondoggles in the name of saving the planet from something the planet doesn’t need saved from. He isn’t the stereotypical neocon hack, either. He has been who he is for his entire life. He has served his country as a JAG officer, advising Navy SEALS, when he could have made loads of money as a lawyer coming out of Harvard. He helped to start the conservative freedom caucus in the US House of Representatives. I don’t have to worry about what position he’s going to take on an issue.

Men like the former resident of the White House vacillate from moment to moment and practice utilitarian ethics in the name of “making deals”. Our current president is lucky not to wander off after a speech. We need generational change.

We need steady leadership in the coming years. Men like Biden, Trump, and the majority of those running our nation now have done so much damage that I don’t expect Ron DeSantis to fix everything, but a generational change is in order. I urge you all to join me.

It all starts here in Iowa.

  1. No! Look at who is backing DeSantis. It’s a who’s-who of RINO establishment Republicans. There are also questions surrounding what involvement DeSantis may have had in the ill treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo. DeSantis cannot be trusted.

  2. So who is backing DeSantis – people like Chip Roy, Tom Massie, those horrid members of the RINO establishment. Oh and 100 or more former members of Trump’s administration. Never mind that Trump supported Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan after he was done praising Hillary Clinton. There is more evidence of Trump who caters to celebrity being the uniparty guy than DeSantis. And considering Trump’s personnel picks , the vaunted star of The Apprentice who kept on Fauci the biggest big government bureaucrat imaginable. Trump is the guy who brags about Operation Warp Speed an absolute genuflection to corporate America especially Big Pharma and you call DeSantis the RINO guy?! People are tired of Trump’s juvenile ways. We will vote for him should he get the nomination because the alternatives are so bad.
