Dear Fellow Iowans,
I am writing to urge you to support Zach Lahn as our next Governor of Iowa. As a 6th-generation Iowan, devoted father of seven, farmer, and successful businessman, Zach is not a career politician—he is one of us. He funds his own campaign and answers only to God, his family, and the people of this great state. Zach’s “Iowa First” vision puts our families, our farms, our health, and our land ahead of special interests, corporations, and foreign influences. In a time when Iowa faces real challenges, Zach has the courage to address them head-on without sweeping them under the rug. We need that kind of leadership, don’t we? Aren’t you tired of those same old slogans that deliver nothing?
Nowhere is this more important than in educating our children. Iowa once led the nation in education, but too many families are leaving public schools due to declining quality and ideological interference. Zach believes public education should promote civic virtue, faith in our country, and our shared Iowa culture—not indoctrination by the left. He is committed to rooting out divisive ideologies, restoring excellence and innovation in our schools, and making Iowa’s education system number one again. As a father and former educator through his non-profit work, Zach understands that strong schools keep our young people in Iowa, build character, and prepare the next generation to thrive here at home. Our kids deserve better than failing systems—they deserve an education that honors Iowa values and secures our future.
Zach is equally passionate about keeping Iowans healthy, especially addressing our state’s alarming cancer crisis. Iowa has the second-highest cancer incidence rate in the country, and unlike most states, our rates are still rising. An estimated 21,700 Iowans will be diagnosed this year alone. Zach is “tired of my people getting cancer” and refuses to ignore the “elephant in the room”: the links between rising cancer rates and environmental factors tied to modern agriculture, including widespread chemical use. He supports independent research, holding big chemical companies accountable, and practical solutions to protect our water, air, and families. This isn’t about blame—it’s about truth, responsibility, and making Iowa healthy again. As someone aligned with the Make America Healthy Again movement, Zach prioritizes the well-being of every Iowan, from rural communities to urban families, so our children and neighbors aren’t needlessly suffering.
Closely tied to our health is protecting our land and supporting our farmers. Too much Iowa farmland is slipping into the hands of out-of-state Wall Street hedge funds and even foreign governments like China—and we often don’t even have full transparency on ownership. Zach’s “Take Back Our Land” plan calls for strict disclosure requirements, reclaiming land owned illegally by foreign entities, and taxing hedge funds to provide property tax relief for Iowa family farms. Our soil is our legacy—it belongs in Iowa hands, not global investors.
Zach also stands with our farmers on finding smarter ways to enrich our soil without relying so heavily on harmful chemicals like glyphosate. Many farmers want alternatives but face pressure from high input costs and industry lobbying (including efforts for “shield laws” that protect chemical manufacturers from liability). Zach advocates for regenerative farming practices, soil health innovation, and safer methods that reduce dependency on toxic herbicides while keeping family farms viable and productive. He knows that healthier soil leads to healthier water, healthier crops, and healthier people—creating a virtuous cycle for rural Iowa.
Zach Lahn is the outsider with the insider knowledge of farming and business needed to challenge the system. He is fighting to save family farms, keep our kids in Iowa, restore educational excellence, stop the cancer epidemic, and defend our land and heritage. Iowa deserves a governor who puts our people and our values first—not lobbyists or distant interests. Let’s join forces and fight with him.
