Every elected official in DC that votes in favor of deficit spending is VIOLATING their oath of office to UPHOLD the US Constitution. We need 1 rule for ALL elected officials at EVERY level of government. ALL elected officials who vote in favor of deficit spending SHALL BE REQUIRED to pledge ALL of their personal assets as collateral towards the debt created by the legislation. If the debt is not paid in full within 1 year of initiation then ALL of the pledged assets SHALL BE SEIZED and sold at auction to the highest bidder with ALL of the proceeds going to pay off debt created by unconstitutional legislators.
