Iowa voters aren’t asking for anything complicated. They want a governor who shows up, listens, and actually fights for them. That’s exactly why I’m supporting Adam Steen for governor.

Adam brings something Iowa is missing right now: real leadership rooted in presence, accountability, and the courage to challenge the status quo. He’s not scripted. He’s not insulated. He’s accessible, engaged, and willing to take on tough conversations – because he understands that government should serve people, not political insiders.

That stands in sharp contrast to Randy Feenstra – our absent D.C. congressman. Across northwest Iowa, the frustration is real. People feel ignored, brushed off, and disconnected from a representative who seems far more focused on donors, lobbyists, and bureaucrats than on the folks back home.

In my time traveling the 4th District – meeting with local activists and county central committees – I’ve heard it over and over again. I can count on one hand the number of people who’ve actually met with Congressman Feenstra or gotten a real response from his office. And too often, that response only seems to come after a check is cut.

That’s not representation. That’s a bought and paid for, transactional approach to public service – and Iowans are tired of it.

Adam Steen is different. He’s been on the ground, face-to-face with voters, taking tough questions and earning support the right way. No filter. No handlers. No hiding. Just real engagement and a clear commitment to the people he wants to serve.

Iowa doesn’t need another absentee politician chasing the next step. We need a governor who will show up in our communities, stand firm on principle, and fight for us every single day.

Leadership isn’t about holding office – it’s about showing up and doing the work you were elected to do.

Adam Steen shows up.
