Dear Republicans Representing Iowa in Washinton D.C.:
As a lifelong Republican, I’m writing to tell you goodbye, I will never support you again. I know you don’t care. If this year has taught me anything it’s that you, our elected officials, only care about self-preservation and do nothing to fight for the people that elected you.
When President Trump was accused and investigated for fake Russian collusion you did nothing to get to the truth. And to make it worse you simply gave the Justice Department, the Biden Family and Eric Swalwell a pass (what secrets Fang Fang get from him?). So tired of the double standard.
When American corporations, corporate media and social media censored and suppressed conservative voices you did nothing. And it’s only getting worse.
When political violence disguised as “peaceful protests” ravaged communities throughout the United States this summer, when people were assaulted leaving the RNC, and when statues were tumbled by the mob you did nothing. Your inaction only showed that mobs rule, mobs get attention, mobs get action. You normalized violence by doing nothing. Until it came to the Capital, then you acted? Then you stood up? Pathetic double standard.
When States are allowed to make up their own Federal election rules opening the door to voter fraud, and when evidence of fraud is found you do absolutely NOTHING. If my vote is nullified by fraudulent votes why should I ever vote again?
And finally, when you did take action to pass a bill to give eligible Americans $600.00 it was a shameful disgrace. Government has unconstitutionally violated our civil liberty by determining who is and isn’t essential. While corporate America grew, millions of citizens suffered greatly. Do you have any idea what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck? And then, to further insult us and prove you have no connection to citizens you vote to give BILLIONS of dollars in foreign aid and to special interest. I don’t care if the bill was part of a requested budget or not, reject it and put American citizens first!
I’m asking each of you to resign immediately. You are not upholding the Constitution. You lied to get elected. You do not represent “The People” and shame on me for believing you would.
