LETTER: No mystery as to where assassination of Charlie Kirk came from

If there is a mystery as to where the vile assassination of Charlie Kirk came from, I offer some clues:

1. President Joe Biden: “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic. . . . that is a threat to . . . all America”. “ “If we were in high school, I’d take him [Trump] behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

2. Vice-President Kamala Harris: Trump is a “fascist”. (One of the myriad of stereotypes of Trump and MAGA as “fascist”, “Hitler”, and “authoritarian,” while ignoring Biden Administration excesses which led former attorney general Bill Barr, no friend of Trump, to characterize the Biden Era as “worse than the McCarthy Era”). After Kirk’s assassination, an Iowa school teacher wrote “1 Nazi down” on Facebook.  Teachers around the country made similar comments.  Notations on the cartridge cases of Kirk’s assassin stated “Hey Fascist! Catch!” and “O Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao Ciao Ciao”, a reference to an Italian anti-fascist anthem.

“Does one of us have to come out alive?”  when Harris was asked what would happen if she was stuck on an elevator with Trump, Pence or Jeff Sessions.
