I attended the Father’s For Faith and Freedom event last night in Pella. I went in with questions. I came out with answers… a lot of answers.

We learned about Adam (Steen’s) family. We heard Adam’s personal testimony from baseball to business, to the life-changing events that brought about personal changes and the building of his powerful spiritual faith in Christ.

Then the discussion turned to his appointment as Director of Administrative Services, where he has served for five years.  Until last night, that position was little more than a title in the monstrosity of government.

I didn’t realize his position made him the frontman across all departments. I’m not going to get too detailed in his job description except to say Adam Steen has a better and more complete view of Rob Sand and what Sand has done as state auditor than anyone else in the field.

Rob Sand is a formidable opponent. Republicans need a champion for battle. Adam Steen is clearly the best-suited conservative to stare down and debate Democrat Rob Sand in the November election. Adam’s experience is Huge.

Brad Sherman is a very good man. Eddie is always the likable guy. Zach Lahn has the Boy Scout image but Iowa is starting to learn about his unsavory dark side.

I’m 70 years old. This is the most important Iowa primary in my lifetime. Divisions between the right and left in Iowa are stark. Minnesota, Illinois, Arizona and other states are warnings of the consequences of liberal Democrat policies and leadership. Iowa has to do more than vote for their favorite candidate. We must choose a candidate that can WIN in November.

If Randy Feenstra wins the Republican nomination June 2, Iowa loses in November.

  1. We’ve heard Steen 3 times and have been more impressed each time. He’s authentic and because he’s dealt with Sand through business he knows better how he works. His experience in Iowa’s business and government makes him the best choice for governor.
