The words inscribed on our State flag read: “Our Liberties We Prize and Our Rights we Will Maintain.” These words have always carried a lot of weight with me. I’m proud to be an Iowan. During my time in the Army, my friends got tired of me constantly bragging about how great my home state was. But when they came to visit, they all understood that all too famous Field of Dreams phrase “Is this Heaven?.. No, it’s IOWA.”
Friends, the truth is our way of life, our culture, the liberties we prize are at risk. We are days away from the Republican Primary that will decide (if any candidate gets over 35% of the vote) who will take on Democrat Rob Sand. If the Republicans of Iowa don’t vote for the best Candidate to beat Rob Sand, our liberties will be infringed on.
Adam Steen is the only candidate who can beat Rob Sand. Adam has 18 years of private business experience and five years of experience running the Iowa Dept. of Administrative Services. In layman’s terms, he was the CFO of the State for Kim Reynolds.
Adam Steen knows what Rob Sand is all about. When Sand (State Auditor) was supposed to show up to work with Adam on important State issues, Sand didn’t show up. Adam, and only Adam, knows the real Rob Sand, and he will expose Sand in the general election.
All the political analysts are in agreeance on two things. One, they are expecting a poor turnout for the primary, and two, that the GOP Gubernatorial race will be won by whoever comes in first or second place in Western Iowa’s 4th Congressional District. For you and I, residents of the 712 area code, that means our vote matters more than ever.
So join me and cast your vote for Adam Steen. The man who will maintain our rights.
