I live in a very small town in Northwest Iowa close to the Minnesota border. I have lived in Iowa for 30 years and when I found out that Kim Reynolds wasn’t running again I knew that Iowa was at risk. I have watched democrat policies gradually destroy Minnesota and I do not want Iowa to end up like that. It will happen slowly where everything seems fine until one day the state is unrecognizable from what we know and love.
I began to research all of the candidates running which was time consuming considering there is five of them! I knew right away that Randy Feenstra was not a good candidate to support because of his lack of integrity. I love President Trump, but his endorsement of Randy Feenstra is ridiculous to say the least. The only reason he did it is because he has establishment politicians in his ear telling him to weigh in.
I live in Randy’s district and every single person I speak to says they do not want to vote for him. Randy will not show up to debates because he is incapable of debating. He will not fight for Iowans and cannot win the general election against Rob Sand.
Brad Sherman and Eddie Andrews are very good men, but they do not have enough support to reach 35% on June 2nd.
Zach Lahn was interesting to me, but he seemed more like an Independent who was running as a Republican because he knew that would be an easier path to victory in our very republican state. From simple google searches I found out that he is a member of Americans for Prosperity which was founded by the Koch brothers. The Koch brothers own the second largest privately owned company in the United States and are involved in industries including but not limited to chemical manufacturing, oil refinery, and AI technology. Zach flies to Kansas once a week and is married to the ex-wife of Chase Koch. There is so much more, and all of this might be circumstantial, but it is more than enough to call into question his motives.
I chose to get behind Adam Steen in the beginning because he had the most signatures out of any of the candidates. I knew, as republicans, that we had to get behind the same guy otherwise it would go to convention and we would end up with Feenstra as our primary winner and then we would lose the general. Being united is the one thing that the Democrats are better at than we are.
Since then, Adam has done more than enough to solidify my decision. Adam most definitely has the best chance of beating Rob Sand in November because he has worked with him before. Like he says himself, he knows who Rob Sand really is and what he has actually done. I have met Adam in person twice and he is such a good man. His wife and children are amazing! They are wonderful people and anyone who meets them agrees. Adam is a champion for his faith and when he talks about Jesus you can tell he loves him so deeply. I want a governor that will hold every decision he makes up to the word of God. Adam is the kind of guy that is not afraid to admit when he doesn’t know something. He is also the kind of guy that won’t stop until he finds the answer. When we elect someone to public office, we are not just electing them for what they say they are going to do but their ability to choose the appropriate team to work underneath them. Intelligent people who will stop at nothing to get things done for Iowans. Adam is a provider and a protector for his family with a biblical worldview. He will provide and protect Iowa families with the same intensity that he does his own. If more people lived the way God intended, then things would not be as bad as they are! Usually when someone meets a politician you can tell that they are only entertaining you because they want your vote. You can tell that if you did not have something that they wanted they most likely wouldn’t give you the time of day.
Adam is not like that in the slightest! With Adam you get genuine concern, love and hope for the future. He does not just tell people what he thinks they want to hear. Adam is the kind of guy that would be your friend all of the time, not only when it benefits him.
Adam Steen is not in this race for himself, he is in this race for you and I know that he will be the best governor that Iowa has ever had!
Please everyone, vote Adam Steen June 2nd because there is too much at risk!
