As an Iowan who has researched the candidates carefully, I urge my fellow citizens to vote for the only evangelical Christian conservative in the race for governor: Brad Sherman.
Brad is a man deeply rooted in Iowa values and the foundations of our republic. Well-versed in the Constitution and the moral underpinnings of our country—including the Great Awakening that helped shape leaders like Benjamin Franklin and our Founding Fathers—he understands what has made America exceptional. He and his family have lived the American tradition Alexis de Tocqueville praised: “Americans believe their freedom to be the best instrument and surest safeguard… to secure for themselves a government which will allow them to acquire the things they covet and which will not debar them from the peaceful enjoyment of those possessions.”
Brad has raised his children and grandchildren in that tradition while staying active at the grassroots level of the Republican Party. He endorsed Donald Trump for president and counts Mike Huckabee among his friends.
What sets Brad apart is courage where it counts. He raised his voice against the satanic display in the Capitol while others followed a governor who vetoed property rights protections. He has consistently stood against eminent domain abuse, defended the sanctity of life, and refused to settle for the status quo. Unlike candidates who waited for public opinion polls or were encouraged from Washington, D.C., Brad has built real relationships across Iowa through years of living and working here. He is not an unknown newcomer to Iowa or a swamp-anointed successor.
Iowans deserve a governor who will restore the foundations of freedom—not just as a slogan, but as a lifelong philosophy. Brad recognizes the challenge: a majority of voters under 40 now view socialism favorably because our education system has drifted from the Founders’ vision that an informed citizenry is essential to liberty. He will work to restore strong educational standards, protect clean water and our environment, support small businesses and local economies (instead of centralizing oversight in Des Moines), and ensure Iowa remains a place where generations of farm families can thrive with good jobs and a healthy future.
Brad Sherman stands out against his opponents now and will continue to do so when he goes head to head with an absent Auditor who is raking in cash from the same financiers that give us judges and attorneys general who have abandoned the Rule of Law around the country. Iowans won’t be bought by outside interests hoping to consolidate their leftist agenda.
Brad Sherman is not a continuation of politics as usual. He is the candidate who has stood up for what is right, even when it was unpopular. I have listened, compared the records, and made my choice. Brad Sherman for Iowa Governor has my vote, and I hope he will have yours.
