Transgender health official “Rachel” Levine has told doctors they need to be activists for medical transgender care in minors.
“I believe in our role as truth-tellers,” Levine said. “And the truth that we need to confront now is that medicine and science are being politically perverted.”
Levine said doctors should “proactively” seek opportunities to “speak about what you know.”
“Our task is to educate the public in as many forums as possible,” Levine said. “We need to have these conversations that question the assumptions that are underlying today’s attacks on trans people. Pushing back the veil of ignorance demands this extra effort.”
Ironically, the government official who was born a man and now claims to be a woman, said they believe in their role as “healers” and “truth-tellers.”
Levine accused opponents of pediatric medical transition of “rejecting well-established science.”
Meanwhile, Sweden and Finland have banned the medical transition of minors outside of the most strict clinical trial settings. England is likely to follow.
