The Iowa Standard has written a few stories about GLBT Youth In Iowa Schools Task Force (Iowa Safe Schools). We’ve told you about the controversial Iowa Governor’s conference hosted annually as well as the hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars the group has received.

GLBT Youth In Iowa Schools Taskforce is posting Drag Queen Story Time on its YouTube channel now. A couple of weeks ago, the book was “Santa’s Husband.”

A couple of drag queens welcome viewers to the “holiday special,” posted on April 14. There are weird looking puppet type things seated on the ground that are supposed to be children I suppose.

“This is Santa Claus. This is Santa’s husband, Mr. Claus. They’re married,” one of the drag queens starts.

The book is basically all about Santa and his “husband.”

“Santa and his husband have been married in their hearts for a long time, but it wasn’t yet official,” the other drag queen reads.

Everyone showed up for Santa’s wedding with Mr. Claus, including Jesus.

“Some angry people on the TV will tell you that this isn’t what Santa Claus looks like or that he doesn’t even have a husband,” reads one of the drag queens.
