iVote is a group that was created in 2014 to “secure voting rights for all Americans.” The group says that Republicans continually try to suppress and block “certain citizens” from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

iVote works to elect Democrats and pass automatic voter registration across the country.

On Friday, the group sent out an email that says President Barack Obama personally called on iVote to step up.

“We have to take back the Senate,” Obama said.

The group goes on to claim that Sen. Mitch McConnell is “plotting rampant voter suppression to protect his seat.”

All this is done in an attempt to raise money for iVote.
