The Senate voted on Monday to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to serve as Associate Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.

She was confirmed with 52 votes.

Justice Clarence Thomas will administer the official Constitutional Oath to Judge Amy Coney Barrett at the White House on Monday.

Democrats boycotted the nomination hearing and today’s vote, hoping to prevent a quorum as a longshot desperate attempt at stalling Judge Barrett’s confirmation to the High Court. However, Republicans moved forward without Democrats.

Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, “Justice Amy Coney Barrett will bring irrefutable character, education, and experience to the U.S. Supreme Court. She will serve our nation well as an originalist who applies the intent and text of the Constitution and the laws she reviews.”
