A new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey shows 68 percent of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is likely the COVID-19 virus originated in a Chinese laboratory. Forty-three percent said they believe it is very likely.

Just 16 percent of voters said they do not think it is likely the virus came from a Chinese lab. Another 16 percent are unsure.

Of those polled, 82 percent said it is important for federal authorities to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus, including 53 percent who say such an investigation is very important.
