Rasmussen Reports released the results of a recent national phone and online survey that shows a majority of likely U.S. voters still believe it is at least somewhat likely cheating affected the 2020 Presidential Election.
Just 40 percent of likely voters do not believe it is likely cheating impacted the 2020 outcome.
Those who believe it is likely cheating affected the 2020 Presidential Election have increased from 52 percent in July.
In all, 84 percent of likely voters said they believe the issue of election integrity will be important in the 2022 elections, which includes 61 percent who said it is very important.
Sixty-two percent of those surveyed said it is more important to make sure there is no cheating in elections while 36 percent said it is more important to make it easier for everyone to vote.
While strong majorities of Republicans (80 percent) and unaffiliated voters (66 percent) agree it is more important to make sure there is no cheating in elections, only 40 percent of Democrats agree.
On the flip side, 57 percent of Democrats believe it is more important to make it easier to vote for everyone, as do 19 percent of Republicans and 32 percent of unaffiliated voters.
Seventy-five percent of Republicans said they still believe it is at least somewhat likely cheating impacted the 2020 election results. Fifty-one percent of Republicans said it is very likely.
Even 35 percent of Democrats believe it is at least somewhat likely the 2020 election was impacted by cheating. Fifty-three percent of unaffiliated voters said it is at least somewhat likely cheating impacted the election.
