The Ames Community School District is preparing for its Black Lives Matter Week of Action at School event, scheduled for Feb. 1-5.

One of the coloring books for the younger students to use is called “The Revolution is Always Now.”

Another coloring book lists a list of “demands.”

*End zero tolerance (restorative justice in all schools)

*Hire black teachers

*Mandate black history and ethnic studies

*Fund counselors, not cops
